for my friends, i'll be there for you, be there for me

show no. 12 7.09.2005 Sound of the Underground @ the tweeter center parking lot.

the following bands played from headliner to opener......Lamb of God, High On Fire, Poison the Well, Clutch, Opeth, Chimaira, Unearth, Gwar, Every Time I Die, Throwdown, Strapping Young Lad, Norma Jean, Madball, A Life Once Lost, Devildriver, Fear Before The March of Flames, All That Remains

setlists:

all that remains.........the deepest gray, tattered on my sleeve, for salvation, and death in my arms, this darkened heart

throwdown....intro (never back down), hopeless, speak the truth, unite, roots bloody roots, nothing left, forever, slip

every time i die....romeo a go go, I have been gone a long time, kill the music, off broadway, floater, guitared and feathered, she's my rushmore, ebolarama

unearth....the great dividers, endless, this lying world, only the people, zombie autopilot, black hearts now reign.

chimaira....pure hatred, sever, nothing remains, inside the horror, the dehumanizing process, power trip

lamb of god....laid to rest, hourglass, as the palaces burn, now you've got something to die for, ruin, 11th hour, bloodletting, what i've become, the subtle are of murder and persuasion, break you, the faded line

overall I think the show was great and ran very well, for the first part of the day up until gwar the set changes were very quick about five minutes.

my favorites of the day were all that remains, throwdown and every time I die

lamb of god, unearth, chimaira, devildriver, cluth, opeth, poison the well and strapping young lad were all also excellent

I thought it was going to be a lot more crowded but I was pretty comfortable the entire day.

the band I liked the least all day was probably fear before the march of flames

every one talks about how great high on fire and norma jean are but neither did much for me.

I thought madball would be great but they were very underwhelming.

brother was the first born with ten fingers and ten toes

50. God Forbid- Gone Forever
51. Darkest Hour- Undoing Ruin
52. Throwdown- Vendetta

so my goal was 52 albums in 52 weeks and I guess I got a little ahead of myself. I got to 52 in about 26 weeks.

now playing: DBT- zip city
